This is one area that confuses a lot of people and an area where you will really be able to benefit from the experience of a professional. Five years to go until retirement and no savings? Well I’d love to say, "no problem" but this is one area where the sooner you take action the better your chances of a happy landing. A lot of people come to me when it’s too late. They come when they are approaching retirement with no defined benefit pension due. They come facing retirement with Social Security as their only source of income. And I think to myself, "if only we had more time," as I wonder how they’ll cope. But if you come with ten years to go, well, it can be a totally different story. I can genuinely say I get a real kick out of helping people spend their retirement years free of financial worries. And it is possible for almost anybody to achieve that with just a little planning and TIME.
